We initially put this property as a short sale in October of last year. With the market picking up I advice my sellers of the possibility of selling it above the short sale price and possibly receiving proceeds from the sale. But before doing so we had to prepare the home. I advised them to do  the following: They refinished and stained the wooden floors. Painted the rooms. Painted the trim around the home and windows. They cleaned out the front and back yard. By doing all of this work the sellers received an offer which took them out of the short sale scenario and received above $10,000 in proceeds from the sale. It gave me great pleasure helping my sellers. I want to thank them for trusting my advice on the sale of their property.

The average home in Silver Lake and Los Feliz is $800K+, Eagle Rock's average home price start at $500K. Let's not forget the close proximity to the hipster York Blvd. The Blvd has seen a revival of shops and new restaurants. As far as schools, Eagle Rock has one of the best schools in the North East LA area. The campus of Occidental College better known as OXY also resides in Eagle Rock.
